Armgate now represents phoenix|x-ray

Armgate has signed an agreement to represent GE's Sensing & Inspection technologies product line phoenix|x-ray in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The phoenix|x-ray line includes equipment for 2D X-ray inspection, as well as 3D X-ray tomography equipment for failure analysis and metrology. SIA Armgate has signed a cooperation agreement with Beneq

Beneq is producing equipment and technology for functional coatings and nanoparticle synthesis for research and industry.

Main technologies are Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and atmospheric nHALO® & nAEROTM aerosol coating.

ALD – atomic layer deposition- is used to produce accurate, pinhole-free and conformal thin-film coatings on various substrates.

nHALO - flame spray technology, used mainly for applying various functional coatings on glass, ceramic tiles, and metals. It is also used for multi-component nanoparticle synthesis.

nAEROTM – is process where submicron droplets are directly deposited on hot glass and forming a uniform coating film.
 
14th of August. SIA Armgate has been chosen as the supplier of aeronavigational radio diagnostic equipment to the Yerevan Zvartnots airport. The equipment was purchased by CJSC "Armaeronavigation".

Hitachi High Technologies Seminar on Electronmicroscopy

On the 27th and 29th of April SIA Armgate organized seminars in Vilnius and in Riga on the newest elecronmicroscopes offered by Hitachi High Technologies (http://www.hitachi-hitec.com/global/). These seminars were attended by about 70 persons. The attendees had a chance to view their own samples under the TM-1000 tabletop microscope(http://www.hht-eu.com/cms/7929.html).

SIA Armgate delegation visits Armenia

Last week, representatives from SIA Armgate visited the Republic of Armenia and established a representative office in Yerevan. The delegation was welcomed at the city council by the mayor of Yerevan, Gagik Beglaryan (pictured). In Armenia, SIA Armgate will be offering analytical and security equipment.

The PX - 208 system is installed in Riga Internatonal Airport. The PX - 208 X-ray system meets the needs of security personnel fased with the dilemma of having to accommodate the occasional oversized object in a checkpoint or limited space environment.

SEMINARS

The seminars ’’X-Ray analysis methods and instruments for material science” which had been arranged by Armgate together with RIGAKU Corporation had attended about 100 participants. Specialists and scientists from Japan had presented XRD and XRF news, innovations and applications. Seminars had taken places in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn from 19th till 23rd of February.
